Patna : Active cases count climbed to 57 in Bihar including 40 in Patna on December 10, 2021, up from 49 on December 9, 2021, as 12 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state in last 24 hours. A total of 17 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on December 8, 2021. The state , however, did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll was standing at 12,090 on December 10.
Bihar has logged 7,26,288 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,14,140 patients have recovered including 4 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.33% on December 10, 2021. The state has tested 5,75,72,642 samples so far including 163846 samples on December 9, 2021.
The 12 new Covid-19 cases included 6 in Patna, 2 in Gaya, 2 in Nalanda, 1 in Muzaffarpur, and 1 from otside Bihar, according to State Health Department figure.
