New Delhi : India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed 129 Crore (129,46,08,045) doses on December 7, 2021. More than 66 lakh (66,37,528) Vaccine Doses were administered in the country till 7 pm on December 7.
The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late December 7 night, according to a PIB release. The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from Covid-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
A total of 6,822 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in last 24 hours; the lowest in 558 days In sharp contrast, a total of 10,004 recoveries were recorded in last 24 hours increasing the Total Recoveries to 3,40,79,612 on December 7, 2021. India’s Active caseload currently stands at 95,014, the lowest in 554 days. Active cases accounted for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.27%, the lowest since March 2020.
