New Delhi : India reported 8,318 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, down from 10,549 cases reported on November 26, 2021. Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 Daily New Cases for 153 consecutive days now.
A total of 10,967 Covid-19 patients, on the other hand, recovered in the country in last 24 hours, up from 9,868 recoveries on November 26, increasing the cumulative tally of recoveries, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 3,39,88,797 on November 27, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) was 98.34% on November 27, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload dropped to 1,07,019 in the country on November 27, 2021, from 1,10,133 cases on November 26. Active cases accounted for 0.31% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 27, the lowest since March 2020.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 9,69,354 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 63.82 Crore (63,82,47,889) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.88% remains less than 1% for the last 13 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 0.86% on November 27. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 54 days and below 3% for 89 consecutive days now.
With the administration of 73,58,017 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 121.06 Crore (1,21,06,58,262) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 27, 2021today. This has been achieved through 1,25,40,268 sessions.
