Kumar Rajiv Nayan

Ara : Owner of Poultry Farm died after a speeding truck dashed him near Eastern Railway crossing under Nawada police station (PS), Ara, in Bhojpur District in Sourth Bihar on November 13, 2021, late evening. He had come to H N K High School during counting of votes of panchayat elections.

The deceased was identified as Mrityunjay Kumar Singh, 30, son of late Shyam Sundar Singh of village Kasape under Udwantnagar PS,  owner of a poultry farm. His father had died due to Covid-19 about six months ago. Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Nawada PS, said that Mrityunjay Kumar Singh had come to H N K High School during counting of votes of panchayat polls to know result of a Mukhia candidate of his village. He was going towards Eastern railway crossing to urinate when a speeding truck dashed and injured him. He was  rushed to Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of his critical condition but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the PMCH.
