Transactions worth Rs 18 cr made from domestic help’s bank account

Muzaffarpur : Income – tax department sleuths  were on December 22 surprised to find huge deposit running into crores into the bank account of a domestic help Kunal during a raid on the premises of traders Raj Kumar Goenka and Ashok Kumar Goenka.

Kunal works as a domestic help at the house of Goenkas. The raid was on till the time of  reporting. Transactions worth around Rs 18 crore were made from Kunal’s account. The IT sleuths are ascertaining whether the deposit into Kunal’s account was made after demonetisation on November 8, 2016. IT officials visited Kunal’s Rambagh Nunfar residence and took him to some place for quizzing.
