Patna : A state vigilance investigation bureau team from Patna on December 16 arrested Circle Officer (CO), Sikandara, in Jamui district, Dharmendra Kumar Bharti, while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 from one Rakesh Kumar to help him get arms licence. Bharti was arrested from his office chamber at Sikandara. Bharti, according to complainant Rakesh Kumar, had initially demanded Rs 30,000 from him to send the verification report to help him get arms licence but finally agreed to accept Rs 12,000 to do him a favour.
