Patna : Active cases count was 111 in Bihar including 20 in Patna on August 28, 2021, as only 11 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August on 27, 2021, down from 21 on August 26. Bihar reported 1 new death due to Covid 19 in Darbhanga in last 24 hours tking the toll to 9,653 in the state on August 28, 2021. The Active cases count was 114 in Bihar on August 27.
Bihar has logged 7,25,683 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,918 patients have been cured including 13 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.65% on August 28, 2021, from 98.63 % on August 27. the state has tested 4,13,89,814 samples so far including 1,53,086 samples on August 27, 2021. The 11 new Covid-19 cases included 4 in Patna, 2 in Darbhanga, and 1 each in Bhojpur, Rohtas, Saharsa, Supaul, and Vaishali.
Meanwhile, Bihar Government on August 28, 2021, asked all the appealed teachers to get vaccinated against Covid-19 before September 5, 2021.
