Patna : Active cases count further declined to 212 in Bihar including 34 in Patna on August 16, 2021, as only 14 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 15, 2021, down from 28 cases a day before. Active cases count in Bihar was 240 on August 15, 2021.
Bihar did nor report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained pegged at 4,996 in the state on August 16, 2021. A total of 42 Covid-19 patients were declared cured in Bihar in last 24 hours though the recovery rate (RR) in still 98.63%, according to State Health Department figure.
