Bokaro ( Jharkhand): Ila Rani, a DPS Bokaro pass-out, Jharkhand, has added another feather to the cap of her Alma Mater by clearing one of the most prestigious exams on designing to make her way to the National Institute of Design (NID) with AIR 11.
Ila made her mark at this coveted examination with 99.37 percentile after going through a rigorous selection process. The Designing Aptitude Test (DAT) mains included Portfolio preparation, Thematic Reflective Presentation, and Interview.
NID is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile, and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. It is an autonomous institution under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and has been recognised as an ‘Institution of National Importance’. It has 5 campuses across India with only 425 seats.
