Patna ; Active cases count further dropped to 309 in Bihar including 41 in Patna on August 8, 2021, as only 34 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 7. The Active cases count in Bihar was 320 on August 7, 2021. Bihar did not report any death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,646 on August 8.
The state has recorded 7,25,192 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,236 patients have been declared cured including 45 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.63%. Bihar has tested 3,85,29,615 samples so far including 1,43,851 samples on August 7, 2021.
The 34 new Covid-19 cases included 4 in Muzaffarpur, 4 in Nalanda, 3 in Patna, 3 in Vaishali, 2 in East Champaran, 2 in Lakhisarai, 2 in Saharsa, 2 in Sheohar, and 2 in Sitamarhi.
