New Delhi : India logged 44,230 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, exceeding the daily recoveries by a margin of of 1,870, taking the tally of cases registered so far in the country to 3,15,72,344 at 8 am on July 30, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases were reported for 33rd consecutive day in the country.
On the other hand, a total of 42,360 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours taking the tally to 3,07,43,972 on July 30, 2021. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of 97.38%.
India’s Active Caseload today stands at 4,05,155, an increase of 1,315 cases in last and active cases now constitute 1.28% of the country’s total Positive Cases.The Weekly Positivity Rate was 2.43% while the Daily Positivity rate was 2.44% on July 30, 2021. Daily Positivity rate has remained below 5%for 53 consecutive days now.
India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverag eexceeded 45.60 crore on July 29, 2021. Cumulatively,45,60,33,754 vaccine doses have been administered through 54,50,378 sessions, as per the provisional report till 8 am on July 30, 2021 A total of 51,83,180 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The new phase of universalisation of Covid-19 vaccination has commenced from June 21, 2021.
With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of 18,16,277 sample tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted over 46 crore (46,46,50,723) tests so far, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
India recorded 555 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 4,23,217 in the country on July 30, 2021.
