Ara : Police arrested four persons including two women from Shahpur under the same police station in Bhojpur District in South Bihar in connection with murder of a property dealer. Police are also conducting raids to arrest the rest of the named accused. Police sent the arrested persons to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Shahpur police station, Nityanand Sharma, said that some miscreants had lynched a property dealer Akash Yadav, 22, son of Kamlesh Yadav of Shahpur Ward No 8 under Shahpur police station, on July 25, 2021, evening, and police recovered the body from near Shahpur High School on Ara-Buxar main road on July 26, 2021, morning. He was missing since midnight on July 25, 2021. The deceased’s family members had accused their neighbour Ramesh Yadav and his family members of kidnapping and killing Akash Yadav in dispute over a piece of land and money. Kamlesh Yadav had lodged a named FIR against 7 persons in this regard and the police arrested four of them, the SHO said.
