Ara : Bhojpur police arrested Md Sarfaraj alias Guddu of Sonbiya locality under Koelwar police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar for allegedly making nude pictures of his wife viral on social media. Police also recovered the mobile phone used for making the videos.
Police produced Md Sarfaraz alias Guddu before an Ara Court on July 26, 2021. The court sent him to jail under judicial custody. A named FIR was lodged by Koelwar PS station in this regard on the statement of brother of the woman.
SHO, Koelwar PS, police station said that a girl of an area under Nawada police station, Ara, was married to Md Sarfaraz alias Guddu of Sonbiya locality on October 22, 2019, and a lot of money along with other gifts was given by her parents at the time of marriage. The SHO said that Md Sarfaraj tortured the girl frequently pressurising her to divorce him. He made nude videos of his wife and made them viral on the social media. He also threatened her that he had a lot of her nude videos and photographs and would make them viral on social media if she refused to divorce him in the court. The SHO further said that her family members had already filed case against Md Sarfaraj for domestic violence in the year 2020.
