Buxar : Police on July 24, 2021, morning, recovered body of a woman, a mother of three daughters, from a well at village Pawani under Buxar Muffasil police station (PS) in Buxar District in South Bihar, and brought it over to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. She was missing for the last six days. The deceased was identified as Rita Devi, 30, wife of Pradeep Kumar.
SHO, Buxar Muffasil PS, Amit Kumar, said that Rita Devi was missing since July 18, 2021, midnight from her house in Ward No 8 at Pawani village. Her family members searched for her everywhere and after failing to locate her they informed police. On July 24 morning, some students who were going to their coaching for tuition peeped into the well after they smelt some foul smell and found a body of woman floating. They raised an alarm. Hearing their cry, the villagers gathered there and informed police. Police took out the body from the well and brought it over to Buxar Sadar Hospital.
