Sasaram : Police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at a Panchayat Building at Dariyaganj under Darigaon police station (PS) in Rohtas District in South Bihar and arrested 19 persons including six Mukhias and one Primary Agriculture Credit Society (PACS) President,in drunken state when they were merrymaking at a Rave party on July 18, 2021, late night.
Police also seized two pistols, some live cartridges, and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from the spot. A named FIR was lodged by Darigaon police station against the arrested persons under the Prohibition & Excise Act.
SHO, Darigaon PS, said that he got information thata Rrave party was organised at Panchayat Building in Dariaganj locality under his jurisdiction and some persons including mukhias were enjoying there after which he with police force immediately conducted raid at the Building and arrested 19 persons including six Mukhias and one PACS president in drunken state. The SDPO said that the arrested persons are being sent to jail after institution of named FIR against them.
