Patna : England thumped Pakistan by 45 runs in the 2nd T20I at Headingley, Leeds, UK, on July 18, 2021, night, to level the three-match series 1-1. Chasing a target of 201 runs, Pakistan could score only 155/9 in 20 overs with fast bowler Saqib Mahmood taking 3/33 in 4 overs, spinner Moeen Ali taking 2/32 in 3 overs, and fellow spinner Adil Rashid taking 2/30 in 4 overs. Pakistan had won the toss but opted to bowl. England had won the three-match ODI series 3-0.
