New Delhi : India registered 41,157 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours taking the tally of cases recorded so far in the country to 3,11,06,065 at 8 am on July 18, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 21 consecutive day.
On the other hand, a total of 42,004 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in last 24 hours in the country taking the tally to 3,02,69,796 on July 18. India recorded 518 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 4,13,609 on July 18.
Meanwhile, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 40 crore. Cumulatively, altogether 40,49,31,715 vaccine doses have been administered through 50,46,387 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am on July 18, 2021. A total of 51,01,567 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
Out of the people infected since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,02,69,796 people have already recovered from Covid-19 including 42,004 patients who recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of 97.31% showing a sustained increasing trend, according go Union Health Ministry figure.
India’s Active Caseload was 4,22,660 on July 18, 2021, a drop of 1,365 cases in last 24 hours, and now constitute 1.36% of the country’s total Positive Cases.
