Ara : Some unidentified bike borne miscreants shot at and injured two youth riding a motorcycle near Hasan Bazaar railway crossing under Piro police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar, on July 9, 2021, evening.
The injured were admitted to a private nursing home at Bikramganj in Rohtas District. One of the injured was identified as Pramod Rai of village Sarfora under Tarari PS in Bhojpur District but identity of another is still to be established. Police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter after lodging an FIR in this connection. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO, Piro PS, said that motorcycle borne unidentified miscreants chased when Pramod Rai along with his friend was going to their native village on a motorcycle. When Pramod Rai reached near Hasan Bazaar railway crossing, the miscreants overtook his bike and fired on the two youth injuring them and escaped.
