Patna : Active cases further dropped to 1,018 in Bihar including 179 in Patna on July 9, 2021, as only 95 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 8, 2021, down from 115 on the previous day. Active cases count in Bihar was 1,140 on July 8, 2021.
Bihar has so far logged 7,23,060 Covid-19 cases of which 7,12,427 patients have been declared cured including 217 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.53% in the state on July 9, 2021. Bihar has tetsed 3,42,60,265 samples so far including 1,28,916 samples on July 8, 2021.
The 95 new Covid-19 cases included 15 i n Patna, 9 in Purnia, 7 in Kishanganj, 6 in Darbhanga, 6 in Saharsa, 6 in Araria, and 4 in Samastipur, according to State Health Department figure.
