Patna : Top seed & World No 1 Ashleight Barty, 25, Australia; 2nd seed Aryna Sabalenka, 23, Belarus; 8th seed Karolina Pliskova, 29, Czech Republic : and 25th seed Angelique Kerber, 33,Germany, reached Wimbledon women’s singles semi-finals on July 6, 2021, all winning their respective quarter-final matches in straight sets at All England Club, Wimbledon, London, UK.
Top seed Barty, the 2019 French Open Champion & Australian Open semi-finalist in 2020, beat compatriot and World No 75 Alja Tomljanovic, 28, in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 on Centre Court to reach her first Wimbledon SFs..
