Patna: Body of a 21 year old youth was recovered from a pond at Adalatganj under Kotwali police station, Pat na, on December 7. Locals informed the police about it. Police said that the deceased was identified as Bittu Kumar, a tea- stall owner at SK Nagar locality under Buddha Colony police station.
Buddha Colony police station SHO Manoj Mohan said that Bittu had gone traceless after he left his house on December 3. He said that when his family members failed to locate him, they lodged a missing complaint in this regard with the local police on December 5. The SHO said that later the missing complaint was converted into a case of abduction and the cops were trying to locate the missing youth. Prima facie, it seems that Bittu had been murdered, the SHO said adding that everything would be clear only after the police gets the autopsy report.
