Motihari ; Two persons drowned to death in a boat mishap on jJne 27, 2021, in swollen Gandak near village Lohargawa under Kesariya police station (PS) in East Champaran Districtin North Bihar. The bodies were fished out by the villagers and police sent them for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital, Motihari.
According to police sources, four youngmen were going to cut grass for their cattle on a countryboat in the flooded areas near their village Lohargawa. But, the boat capsised in flood water due to strong wind. Two persons : Vishal Kumar and Rohan Giri, drowned in the river and died while two others somehow swam to safet. Police have lodged case in this connection.
