Buxar : A youth was killed when his motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding Pick-up van on four-lane near Dharahara under Krishnabrahm police station (PS) in Buxar District in South Bihar on June 18, 2021.
The deceased was identified as Sourabh Kumar Singh, 19, son of Ramesh Singh of village, Saithu village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. He had come to his maternal uncle’s village. Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Krishnabrahm PS, Santosh Kumar, said that Sourabh Kumar Singh was returning after dropping someone at his maternal uncle’s place at Dharahara but a pick-up van collided with his motorcycle head-on there killing him on the spot. The driver of the Pick-Up van escaped with the vehicle after the accident.
