Patna : Active cases further dropped to 4,771 in Bihar including 481 in Patna on June 14, 2021, as only 324 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on June 13, 2021. The Active cases count was 5,311 in Bihar on June 13, 2021. The state reported 13 deaths in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,505 on June 14, 201.
Of the 7,17,539 Covid-19 cases reported in the state so far, a total of 7,03,262 patients have been declared cured in Bihar including 851 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.01% on June 14 from 97.94% on June 13, 2021. Bihar has tested 3,14,29,415 samples so far including 1,06,225 samples on June 13, 2021.
The 324 new Covid-19 patients included 52 in Muzaffarpur, 30 in Saran, 27 in Patna, 18 in Vaishali, 17 in Siwan, 15 in Araria, 13 in Madhepura, 12 in Darbhanga, 11 in Purnia, 11 in Sheikhpura, 6 in Gaya, and 3 in Bhagalpur.
The 13 new deaths due to Covid-19 included 3 in Patna, 2 in Araria, and 2 in Darbhanga. With it, the Covid toll climbed to 2,314 in Patna, 349 in Darbhanga, 322 in Madhubani, 191 in Vaishali, 175 in Purnia, 149 in Samastipur, 114 in Araria, 109 in Jehanabad, and 36 in Sheikhpura.
