193 bottles of IMFL seized in Gopalganj, two arrested

Gopalganj: An Excise team on Sunday arrested Niraj Kumar and Vithal Sah from village Bathnakuti under Kuchaikot police station in Gopalganj district and recovered 193 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from their possession. Gopalganj Excise Superintendent Priya Ranjan Kumar said that both the arrested persons were bringing liquor bottles from Uttar Pradesh and the consignment was to be delivered at Meerganj. He said that an Excise team was sent to the aforesaid village on a tip off. The liquor traders have become active and are taking advantage of dense fog, he added.
