Ara : A dance programme by Bar girls was organised during a marriage ceremony amidst playing of Disc Jockey in full volume violating lockdown guideline.under Ward No 10 of Miyachak locality under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur District on June 7, 2021, night.
A baraat had come from Bhagalpur to Miyachak locality under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur District on June 7, 2021, night, and an orchestra programme was organized for the entertainment of guests. Even bar girls from Muzzaffarpur were invited. Bar girls were performing dance amidst playing of disk jockey. Hundred of villagers were present to watch the programme. The orchestra owner locked the bar girls inside a cage so that no one could reach them with malafide intention. A video of Bar girls dancing inside a cage went viral in social media.
Block Development Officer (BDO), Koelwar, Veer Bahadur Pathak, said that the matter had come to his notice and added that forcing the bar girls to dance inside a cage is wrong. He said that action would be taken against those responsible for it after an inquiry.
