Patna : New Zealand (NZ) were 62/2 after 29 overs in their 2nd innings in 1st test against England at Lord’s, London, at stumps on Day 4 on June 5, 2021. NZ opener Devon Conway, who had scored 200 in first innings on debut, fell to fast medium bowler Ollie Robinson for 23 making it 23/1. Captain Kane Williamson .also fell to Robinson for 1 and it was 57/2. Opener Tom Latham is batting on 30 while Neil Wagner is 2 not out. NZ lead by 161 runs.

Earlier, England were all out for 275 in their first innings with opener Rory Burns scoring 132 in 297 balls hitting 16 fours and 1 six off Neil Wagner. It was his 3rd test century, 2nd against NZ.  Burns added 52 runs with James Anderson for the 10th wicket. Burn was last England batsman man to get out falling to Tim Southee. Anderson remained unbeaten on 8. Captain Joe Root and fast medium bowler Robinson scored 42 each. England were struggling at 223/9 but Burns played a terrific knock. After reaching his century, Burns hit Fast medium bowler Kyle Jamieson for 3 fours in 95th over. Tim Southee took 6/43 while Jamieson took 3/83. NZ had scored 378 in their first innings.
