Ara : Some miscreants reached the house of Ajay Kumar Singh, 47, son of late Aspuran Singh at village Muhuli under Ara Muffasil police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on May 10, 2021, late night, and shot him dead over a trivial issue.
A named FIR was lodged with Ara Muffasil PS on the statement of the son of the deceased Amit Kumar against six youth of the village. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the accused. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Ara Muffasil PS, Anil Kumar, quoting the FIR, said that some youth had cracked jokes with Amit Kumar and also abused him. When he protested, the youth thrashed and in the late night they came to his house in a drunken state and called him out. Amit’s father came out of the house and the youth shot him dead and escaped.
