Patna : A total of 351 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Bihar on March 27, 2021, taking the number of Active cases in the state to 1,346 including 567 in Patna on March 28, 2021. With it, the Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,64,955 in Bihar on March 28, 2021, of which 2,62,036 patients have been declared cured including 119 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) further dropping to 98.90% in the state from 98.98% on March 27, 2021.
The new 351 Covid-19 cases included 129 from Patna, 46 from Bhagalpur, 18 from Araria, 15 each from Jehanabad and Siwan, 14 from Gaya, 9 from Nalanda, 8 each from Madhubani and Samastipur, 7 each from Katihar and Munger, 6 each from Rohtas, Sitamarhi, 5 each from Banka, Buxar, and Muzaffarpur, and 4 each from Begusarai, Darbhanga, Lakhisarai, Saran, and Vaishaili, 3 each from Saharsa and Supaul, and 2 each from Arwal, Kishanganj, Purnia. Bihar has tested 2,35,50,969 samples so far including 65,104 samples on March 27, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,572 in Bihar on March 28, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Patna during last 24 hours. With it, the toll climbed to 458 in Patna on March 28.
