Patna : Third seed Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus, 35, Denmark, 4th seed Kunlavut Viditsarn, 19, Thailand, and World No 47 Toma Junior Popov, 22, France, reached the men’s singles semi-finals of Orleans Masters 2021, a BWF Tour Super 100 badminton tournament at orleans, France, on March 26, 2021.

World No 22 Hans-Kriistian Solberg Vittinghus beat World No 104 Ditlev Jaeger Holm, Denmark, in straight games 21-11, 21-15 in 32 minutes in quarter-finals on March 26, 2021. Vittinghus won 42 rallies during the match to 26 by Holm. He won 8 consecutive points during the match to 4 by compatriot Holm. It was first meeting between the two players. Vittinghus will face compatriot & World No 108  Christophersen, 23, in SFS on March 27, 2021.

World No 24 Kunlavut Viditsarn, 19, Thailand, beat World No 36 Brice Leverdez, France,  21-13, 21-9 in 31 minutes in QFS. Kunlavut won 42 rallies in the match to 22 by Leverdez. The Thai won 7 consecutive points in the match to 3 by Leverdez. It was first meeting between the two players.

Toma Junior Popov stunned top seed Kidambi Srikanth, 28, India, 21-19, 21-17 in 41 minutes in QFS. Popov won 42 rallies in the match to 36 by Srikanth. He won 6 consecutive points during the match to 4 by the Indian. Popov now leads former World No 1 Srikanth 1-0 Head to Head. Popov will face Kunlavut in SFs on March 27, 2021..
