Patna : A total of 211 persons including 66 from Patna, 16 from Jehanabad, 13 from Bhagalpur, 12 from Gaya, 10 from Muzaffarpur, 9 each from Saran and West Champaran, 7 each from Rohtas and Nwada, 6 from Nalanda, 5 from Purnia, 4 each from Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Munger, Samastipur, and Siwan, and 3 each from Banka, East Champaran, and Vaishali, tested positive for Covid-19 in Bihar on March 25, 2021, taking the tally of Active cases in the state to 1,000 including 418 in Patna on March 26, 2021. The number of Active cases was 924 in Bihar on March 25, 2021. Bihar had recorded 258 Covid cases on March 25.
The number Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,64,409 cases on March 26, 2021, of which 2,61,839 patients have been declared cured including 133 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 99.03% in the state from 99.06% on March 25, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,34,26,834 samples so far including 51,662 samples on March 25, 2021.
The Covid-19 jumped to 1,569 in Bihar on March 26, 2021, with 2 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including one each in Madhubani and Nalanda. With it, the toll increased to 60 in Nalanda and 36 in Madhubani on March 26.
