Patna : Top seed Pornpawee Chchuwong, 23, Thailand, 3rd seed Busanan Ongbamrungphan, 25, Thailand, and 4th seed Saina Nehwal, 31, India, reached the women’s singles semi-finals of Orleans Masters 2021, a Badminton World Federation (BWF) Tour Super 100 event, at Orleans, France, on March 26, 2021.
World No 10 Pornpawee Chochuwong beat World No 146 Goh Jin Wei, 21, Malaysia, in straight games 21-14, 21-13 in 40 minutes in quarter-finals. Chochuwong, who had reached the final of All England Open Badminton Championships final recently, won 42 rallies during the match to 27 by the Malaysian.
