Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,63,443 on March 20, 2021, as 88 more persons including 41 from Patna, 7 from Nawada, 6 from Rohtas, 3 each from Begusarai, Gaya, Kishanganj, and Munger, and 2 each from Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Saharsa, Samastipur, Sheohar, Siwan, and Vaishali, tested positive for the pandemic on March 19, 2021.
The active cases jumped to 472 in Bihar including 217 in Patna on March 20, 2021, from 436 on March 19, 2021. Of the 2,63,443 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,61,413 patients have been declared cured including 51 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.23% on March 20, 2021. Bihar hs tested 2,31,14,123 samples so far including 55,376 samples on March 19, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,557 in Bihar on March 20, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With this, the toll climbed to 449 in Patna on March 20.
