Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,63,355 on March 19, 2021, as 90 more persons including 25 from Patna, 7 from Bhagalpur, 5 from Begusarai, 4 each from Munger, Saharsa, and Siwan, 3 each from Araria, East Champaran, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, and Supaul, and 2 each from Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, and West Champaran, tested positive for the pandemic on March 18, 2021.
The active cases jumped to 436 in Bihar including 198 in Patna on March 19, 2021, from 405 active on March 18, 2021. Of the 2,63,355 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,61,362 patients have been declared cured including 58 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 99.24% on March 19, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,30,58,747 samples so far including 55,859 samples on March 18, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,556 in Bihar on March 19, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 448 in Patna on March 19, 2021.
