Patna : Covid-19 cases climbed to 2,62,244 in Bihar on February 22, 2021, afternoon, as 84 more persons including 21 from Patna, 14 from Nawada, 8 from Purnia, 4 from Gaya, and 3 each from Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Khagaria, Nalanda, and Saran, tested positive for the pandemic on February 21, 2021. Bihar had recorded 94 new Covid-19 cases on February 21.
Of the 2,62,244 Covid-19 recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,60,147 patients have been declared cured including 59 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.20%. The number of active cases in the state was 560 on February 22, 2021.The number of active cases was 536 in Bihar on February 21, 2021. Bihar has tested 22241341 samples so far including 21,760 samples on February 21, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,536 in Bihar with 1 new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With this, the toll increased to 441 in Patna on February 22, 2021.
