Patna : World No 55 Marton Fucsovics, 29, Hungary, stunned 2014 Australian Open (AO) Champion & 17th seed Stan Wawrinka, 35, Switzerland, in 2nd round of AO 2021 at Melbourne Park, Australia, on February 10, 2021. Fucsovics beat Wawrinka in a five-set marathon 7-5, 6-1, 4-6, 2-6, 7-6 to enter theto just 3 third round of Australian Open.
Fucsovics won 156 points during the match to 148 by the Swiss. Wawrinka, however, fired 9 Aces in the match to 2 by the Hungarian. Fucsovics won 6 break points in the match to 5 by Wawrinka.
