Patna: World No 20 & 2nd seed Karen Khachanov, 24, Russia, 4th seed and World No 38 Jannik Sinner, 19, Italy, World No 71 Stefano Travaglia, 29, Italy, and World No 83 Thiago Monteiro, 26, Brazil, entered the semi-finals of Adelaide International, a hardcourts tennis tournament at Adelaide, South Australia, on February 5, 2021.
Travaglia and Monteiro will clash in the first semi-finals while Khachanov and Sinner will meet in the second semi-finals on February 6, 2021.
Khachanov beat World No 159 Botic van Zandschulp, 25, Netherlands, in a three-set contest 6-7, 7-5, 6-3 in quarter-finals on February 5, 2021, rallying back from one sdt down. Khachanov won 4 break points to 1 by Botic. He also fired 6 Aces to 4 by the Dutch.

Sinner beat 7th seed & World No 42 Miomir Kecmanovic, 21, Serbia, in straight sets 7-6, 6-4 in QFs. Sinner fired 12 Aces in the match to just 1 by Kecmanovic. Sinner won 3 break points to 2 by the Serbian.
Thiago Monteiro beat World N 52 Jordon Thompson, 26, Australia, 6-4, 6-4 in QFs. Monteiro won 2 break points to none by the Australian. The Brazilian fired 6 Aces in the match to 3 by the Australian.
