Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar climbed to 2,59,281 on January 20, 2021, afternoon, as 209 more persons including 105 from Patna, 16 from Vaishali, 10 from Muzaffarpur, 7 each from Rohtas and Saran, and 6 each from Aurangabad, Banka, and Kaimur, tested positive for the pandemic on January 19, 2021.
Of the 2,59,281 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far, altogether 2,54,765 patients have been declared cured including 257 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.26%. The number of active cases in the state was 3,051 on January 20, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,01,51,380 samples so far including 87,692 samples on January 19, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,464 in Bihar on January 20, 201, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 2 in Patna and 1 in Buxar. The toll jumped to 404 in Patna on January 20,2021.
