Patna : The number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,43,673 on December 14, 2020, afternoon, as 425 more persons including 195 from Patna, 26 from Muzaffarpur, 22 from Saran, and 21 from Gaya, tested positive to the pandemic during last 24 hours.
According to State Health Department data, 17 persons from Nalanda, 13 from Purnia, 11 each from Sitamarhi, West Champaran, Begusarai, and Bhagalpur, 8 from Araria, 7 each from Samastipur and Nawada, 6 each from Siwan and Madhepura, and 5 each from Rohtas, Darbhanga, and Sheohar, also tested positive to Covid-19 during last 24 hours.
Of the 2,43,673 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,37,372 patients have been declared cured including 635 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.41%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,975 on December 14, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,325 in Bihar with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Madhubani and Bhagalpur. The toll increased to 344 in Patna on December 14, 2020.
