Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far rose to 2,37,349 on December 3, 2020, afternoon, as 571 more persons including 187 from Patna, 32 from Muzaffarpur, 24 from Supaul, and 21 from Katihar, tested positive to it on December 2, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 19 persons from Aurangabad, 17 from Jehanabad, 16 from Bhagalpur, 15 each from Kishanganj and Saran, 13 each from Gaya and Purnia, 12 from Madhubani, 11 each from Araria, Banka, Darbhanga, and Lakhisarai, and 10 from Nalanda, also tested positive to Covid-19.
Of the 2,37,349 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, altogether 2,30,503 patients have been declared cured including 502 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.12%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,564 on December 3, 2020. The state has tested 1,50.47,551 samples including 126530 samples on December 2, 2020.
Covid-19 toll in Bihar jumped to 1,281 on December 3, 2020, with 7 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 3 from Patna, 2 from Gaya, and 1 each from East Champaran and Siwan. The toll increased to 332 in Patna on December 3.
