Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date rose to 2,36,778 on December 2, 2020, afternoon, as 680 more persons including 233 from Patna, 50 from Purnia, and 34 from Saharsa, tested positive to it on December 1, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 26 persons from Begusarai, 25 from Saran, 24 from Bhagalpur, 22 from Madhubani, 21 from East Champaran, 19 from Muzaffarpur, 17 fro Kishanganj, 16 from Lakhisarai, 15 from Rohtas, 12 each from Aurangabad, Supaul, and Gaya, 11 from Araria, and 10 each from Nalanda, Siwan, and Vaishali, 9 each from Nawada, Madhepura, and Katihar, and 8 each from Munger and Jehanabad, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 1, 2020.
Of the 2,36,778 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, a total of 2,30,001 patients have been declared cured including 636 during last 24 hours with the recovery being 97.14%. The number of active cases in the state was 5,502 on December 2, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,49,21,021 samples so far including 1,26,606 samples on December 1, 2020.
Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,274 in Bihar on December 2, 2020, with 6 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna, and one each from Nawada, Kishanganj, Vaishali, and Banka.The toll increased to 329 in Patna on December 2, 2020.
