Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far rose to 2,34,553 on November 28, 2020, afternoon, as 713 more persons including 267 from Patna, 33 from Muzaffarpur, 25 from Katihar, 24 from Saharsa, 22 from Darbhanga, 22 from Supaul, and 21 from Vaishali, tested positive to on November 26, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 19 persons each from Gaya and Araria, 17 each from Nalanda and Purnia, 16 from East Champaran, 15 each from Jehanabad and Madhubani, 14 from Bhagalpur, 13 from Kishanganj, 12 each from Begusarai and Madhepura, and 10 each from Saran and Gopalganj, also reported positive to Covid-19 on November 27, 2020.
Of the 2,34,553 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, a total of 2,27,714 patients have been declared cured including 668 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.08%. The number of active cases in the state was 5,585 on November 28, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,44,12,044 samples so far including 1,36,770 samples on November 27, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,253 in Bihar on November 28, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Aurangabad. The toll increased to 322 in Patna on November 28.
