Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar rose to 2,31,697 on November 24, 2020, afternoon, as 653 more persons including 194 from Patna, 38 from Begusarai, 30 from Saran, 30 from Supaul, 29 from Muzaffarpur, 24 from Purnia, 23 from Nawada, and 20 each from Gaya and Kishanganj, tested positive to it on November 23, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 19 persons frpm Katihar, 18 from Nalanda, 17 from Madhubani, 13 from Madhepura, 12 from Munger, 12 from East Champaran, 11 each from Bhagalpur, West Champaran, and Vaishali, 9 from Saharsa, 8 each from Rohtas, Samastipur,Jamui, Siwan, Banka, Sitamarhi, Lakhisarai, and Aurangabad,also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 24, 2020.

Of the 2,31,697 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,25,447 patients have been declared cured including 746 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.30%. The state has tested 1,38,71,236 samples till date including 1,27,704 samples on November 23. 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,016 on November 24, 2020.

The Covid-19 in Bihar rose to 1,233 on November 24, 2020, with 6 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 5 from Patna and one from Purnia. The toll jumped to 319 in Patna on November 24, 2020.
