Patna : COVID-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar rose to 2,26,916 on November 15, 2020, afternoon, as 247 more persons including 89 from Patna, 24 from Muzaffarpur, 23 from Supaul, and 14 from Bhagalpur tested positive to the disease on November 14, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 11 persons from Munger, 11 from Purnia, 8 from Vaishali, 7 from Gaya, and 6 each from West Champaran, Madhepura and Sitamarhi, also tested positive to COVID-19 on November 14, 2020.
Of the 2,26,916 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,19,864 patients have been declared cured including 614 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.89% . The number of active cases was 5,867 in Bihar on November 15, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,28,69,405 samples so far including 96,699 samples on November 14, 2020.
The COVID-19 jumped to 1,184 on November 15, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 4 from Patna and one from Araria. The toll climbed to 298 in Patna on November 15.
