Buxar : Police recovered body of a teenage boy from the bank of river Kav at village Sawnaa under Itadhi police station in Buxar District on October 8, 2020, and brought it over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Bhawar Singh, son of Munna Singh of Sawnaa village under Itadhi police station.
SHO, Itadhi police station, Alok Kumar, said that Bhawar had gone for playing in the field at the village around 2 pm on October 7, 2020. He was seen at his school playground till 5 pm in the evening but after that he was missing. When he did not reach home till late, his family members searched for him everywhere and at last his body was found from the bank of river Kav at the village on October 8, 2020, morning. The SHO stated that a wound was seen on the neck of the deceased that showed that he was killed and the miscreants threw the body on the bank of the river to erase evidence. He said that an FIR has been lodged in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
