Gopalganj: The State CID on August 25, 2020, submitted chargesheet in the CJM Court, Gopalganj, in the much publicised triple murder at village Rupanchak village under Kuchaikot police station giving clean-chit to JD(U) MLA Amrendra Pandey alias Pappu Pandey, one of the alleged plotters and accused, while the rest three accused have been charged with crime.
Amarendra Pandey, a four term MLA from Kuchaikot in Gopalganj District in North Bihar, was absconding for the last three month and Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Yadav had been demanding his arrest. Amrendra Pandey has got a big relief after submission of the chargesheet by the CID in this case as the Bihar Assembly polls is likely to be held in October – November, 2020.
It may be recalled that on June 24, 2020, the mother, father, and brother of J P Yadav, an RJD leader, were killed when some
criminals opened fires at his house at Rupanchak village. J P Yadav had also sustained minor injury in the incident. He lodged a case against Amarendra Pandey, MLA, accusing him of plotting the triple murder. Satish Pandey, Mukesh Pandey, Chairman of
Zila Parishad, and Batukeshwar Pandey, were also made accused in this case and were arrested by the police.
