Patna : Bihar Government, in an important development, transferred Principal Secretary, Health, Uday Singh Kumawat, a 1993 batch IAS officer, and appointed Pratyayay Amrit, a 1991 batch IAS officer, and Principal Secretary, Energy, as Principal Secretary, Health. Health Minister Mangal Pandey while his displeasure over the style of functioning of Kumawat recently had demanded his immediate transfer from the department.
Pratyaya Amrit will continue to hold additional Charge of Principal Secretary, Disaster Management Department. He has, however, been relieved of additional charge of CMD, Bihar State Power ( Holding) Company Limited, Patna.
Kumawat has been appointed Advisor ( Paramarshi), Bihar state Planning Board. He has been relieved of the additional charge of Director General, Bihar Public Administration and Rural Development Institute, Patna.
Sudhir Kumar, a 1988 batch IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Resoyrces Department, has bben transferred and appointed Chief Advisor, Bihar State Planning Board. He will continue to hold additional charge of Inquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department.
Arun Kumar Singh, a 1985 batch IAS officer and Development Commissiober, Bihar, has been given additional charge of DG, Bihar Public Administration and Rural Development Institute.
Siddharth, a 1991 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Finance Department, has bben given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Industry Department.
Mihir Kumar Singh, a 1993 batch IAS officer, has been appointed Principal Secretary, Labour Resources Department, on his return from central deputation. Sanjeev Hans, a 1997 batch IAS officer and Secretary, Water REsources Department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Energy Department, and CMD, Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited.
