New Delhi : The exponential increase in the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured continues in India reaching 9,17,567 at 8 am on July 26, 2020, an increase of 31,991 during last 24 hours, exceeding the number of active cases by 4,32,453 in the country. The number of active cases stand at 4,85,114 in India.

On the negative side, the Coronavirus death toll has jumped to 32,771 in India with 708 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during the last 24 hours. Maharashtra alone accounts for 13,656 deaths followed by 3,827 in Delhi, 3,494 in Tamilnadu, 2,326 in Gujarat, 1,878 in Karnataka, 1,426 in UP, 1,372 in West Bengal, 1,041 in Andhra Pradesh, 811 in Madhya Pradesh, 621 in Rajasthan, 463 in Telengana, 392 in Haryana, 140 in Odisha, 79 in Assam, 63 in Uttarakhand, 61 in Kerala, 43 in Chhattisgarh, and 35 in Goa.

As far COVID patients getting cured in the country goes, altogether 2,13,238 patients have been declared cured in Maharashtra till date followed by 1,56, 526 in Tamilnadu, 1,14,875 in Delhi, 41,332 in Telengana, 41,641 in UP, 35,838 in Karnataka, and 24,384 in Haryana.
