Ara : In a bizarre incident, a man allegedly tried to outrage modesty of his minor step daughter under Nawada police station area, Ara, in Bhojpur District, on July 25, 2020, evening, when the two were alone at the house. Police arrested the accused Dinesh and sent him to jail. An FIR has also been lodged with police in this regard against Dinesh.
The SHO, Nawada police station, quoting the FIR, said that the mother had gone to the field to attend call of nature and Dinesh and his step daughter were alone at the house. Taking advantage of situation, Dinesh tried to outraged modesty of his step daughter even as she was crying. When her mother returned, she narrated her ordeal before her. When she protested the action of her husband, Dinesh thrashed her and her daughter.
