Ara : Police seized 792 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 17 cartons from behind community hall under Tier police station in Bhojpur district on July 24, 2020, though liquor smugglers could not be arrested.
A named FIR has been lodged by Tier police station in this regard under the Prohibition & Excise Act against two persons and police are conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
SHO, Tier police station, Harendra Prasad, said that he got information that IMFL has been kept at Anhari Bag village under Tier police station behind the community building. Police immediately swung into action and conducted raids and seized 17 cartons of IMFL hidden in a bush.
